You sure? Mine's injected remember and I've never noticed a fuel filter in my engine bay...

On the 94 injected Panda it is mounted above the gearbox mount on the wing. They are approx £10 from fiat, and are designed to take the higher pressure. cheers Damon

I was taking my son to school this morning and he died in heavy traffic, I now know what Jim was on about with the worst 90 seconds of his life... He seems to flood really easily when cold and takes 4 or 5 prolonged turns of the key and a lot of playing with the choke to get going again. Any ideas?

Since I replaced the split fuel hose Splutter is running a lot better. The choke can now be pushed in as soon as he reaches the first notch on the temp gauge and he'll even start without the choke now. I'm now wondering if the split fuel hose was causing the problem. Could a lose of pressure in the fuel system via a split pipe cause the symptoms described above?

He is looking well. :)

Martin, I have a drivers headrest from a Panda with proper seats on the drivers side, it is just sitting there though, not much use in an accident but I don't like driving with no headrest. Jim has the other seats that were sent over for Splutter by Giacosa. I'm waiting on him digging them out of wherever they are. The passengers seat that is in him is useless. When you sit in it you are practically lying down. :)

Next month he's getting proper tyres rather than the ones on him at the minute. I think I'll be going for 165/70/13 tyres. He currently has 155/70/13 on the front and 155/70/13 on the rear which are terrible in the wet.

Looks like somebody knows how to weld, just read this all the way through, nice to see anoter person keeping theirs on the road, thats the only car ive seen so far to date that i like with that fiat badge on the back, pands are the only ones that suit it! Keep all the good work up thats gone into building this car back to a dcent standard!
