When I put the right indicator on and then press brake pedal which causes the indicator to flash faster and when I take foot off the brake it goes back to flashing normally. Changed bulbs. Had anyone got a picture of where yhe earth points are in boot of car

pretty self explanatory this one was flashing double speed when using the brake 10mm socket is so much easier press here to release the connector above done forget to clean up the other half. Scrap with a screwdriver blade is normally enough above, Line up these First.

Other half is looking at it but got the manual but unable to find earth bolts to lights

I didn't do a write up but the photos are self event of whats needed

done at least 8 of these probably more

you dont need to replace the block with all the pain that entails

No it did have a very tiny bit of brown on it. have cleaned it

brown is due to arcing.

with the brake lights on I take its the right side that dims

need to go back and do the contacts properly , The connector comes apart. The heat from the arcing will have distorted it out of shape

the flat contacts on the cluster itself will be pitted and will also need scraping with a small screwdriver


You dont need to look any further. There is a bad contact with the centre black wire

worse case, an auto electrician would cut the one connector off and crimp a new one on using these

far better than splicing in a new connector and heat shrinking the join. There's some serious amps running down there and I wouldn't want anything hidden accidentally shorting out

After I fix them I smear them with Vaseline, stops them from corroding up again
