General P0351 Fiat panda

2006 1.1 petrol panda. Displays fault code P0351 for primary/secondary ignition coil A/B. Have replaced the coil packs, ignition leads, spark plugs, have had the ECU tested and the loom examined. Battery is relatively new. But car suffers from misfire when ifle and when driving and the misfire can last up to 20 seconds. Redex seemed to solve the issue for a short period of time but seems to be more persistent now. Need help on what seems to be the problem or what to do next?

You done the obvious. Mmm my first thought would be a connector.

It's the loom, 1.1's are noted for a bad join in part of the loom.

Someone managed to find and fix theirs.

As above, loom or connector are the most likely.

Although I have had a couple of bad replacement coil packs - in both cases it wasn't an electrical problem as much as poor quality plastic moulding causing the connector to deform, which caused a random misfire. Worked fine once I scraped off the excess plastic. Rubbish quality control, I guess.
