Dropped the wife off in town at 9am - she's doing some sort of course to do with her work.

She's just sent me a text saying she's done some clothes shopping & now having a cup of tea.
She's seen a few more clothese that she likes the look of, she's going to get a few bits of food for our tea & can I pick her up outside M&S in 15 minutes.
It'll take me 10 minutes to get into town.

My dilemma is...

Do I have time to load the dishwasher with my stuff from today's meals and then have a bath?

Plenty time. Because there was some sort of incident on the main road you have to use to get there. Hoprefully it will have cleared by the time you are heading home with her.

update.

So, I loaded the dishwasher and then had a shower.
En route to town, I got a text..."are you on your way?"

Pulled up just as she was coming out of M&S

I think the extra time might have cost me about £42 as she had time to buy a couple of additional items "just in case it turns a bit colder"
