I won't disagree! But I want 5 doors, and more boot space. I could easily need help fixing this car, and this would be a good place to find that help. I'm minded to sell it after a year or so

a bit loud and rattly, oil changes are a total b I t c h but it’s fairly economical.
I’d be inclined to look for a lounge model l, the pop is too basic and if you are going to move it on the lounge would be more desirable.
The 500L under pinnings are basically the same as the Punto it was supposed to replace the Punto, but they didn’t update the platform just shoved a new body on it.
The underside of the car should be pretty familiar to you.

It sounds ok. I'm not totally aware of the difference between the lounge and pop, so i'll take a browse. After your previous post i had a look at the 500x, because i seem to recall you saying it was reasonable.
