Possibly... I know they have their problems, touch wood nothing major has gone wrong with mine, but they're great cars when all the niggles have been sorted out.

Absolutly no faluts at all! Smooth drive home, The clutch takes a bit of getting used to but I'll cope!
One small thing though, the, um acceleration is a little poor, Well compared to my fiesta, Maybe becuase its a bigger car, I dunno.
The car itself is intact with no problems and no airbags going off. There are SOO many buttons on it though. I'm lost. And I have to find the Fog light swtich.... Its dark now. More hunting in the morning!

What Fiesta did you have? It might just feel slower because you're sat higher up in the car, it gives you a false sense of speed.....

I had a mk3 1.6s and the cars really not as nippy. More comfortable though!

Has the current 1.6si Fiesta not got the same engine? If so, the 1.6 Stilo is 0.1sec quicker to 62mph I think....

Sure as hell doesn't feel it! Not complaining about the car though. Although its just taken me 10 minuets to find out what the P button between the now found fog light switchs do. Parking lights? What the hell is that for?!

Get one of my induction kits and it will feel quicker LOL!
Never had to use the parking lights and probably never will.
A bit of useless information: After switching your car off at night, pull the stalk for flashing the lights and the "Follow Me" lights come on. The more times you pull it, the longer your lights stay on for in 15 or 30sec increments...
