Technical New Battery Needed

Hi All

I need a new battery for a 2017 Tipo 1.6 diesel. Can anyone recommend a battery that’s suitable for ‘stop start’? Thanks.

I've got a 2017 1.3 diesel and swapped mine out last year with a YBX7027 Yuasa EFB Start Stop Car Battery 12V 65Ah. It was £85 from tayna and was a straight swap. Not sure if it'll do the 1.6 but mine hasn't skipped a beat since.

Putn your reg into taynas batteries website and see what they recommend from a quick look it seems to be a 096 size battery

I'd also recommend a AGM over a efb type for greater lifespan

Perhaps something like this there's also options for Bosch and varta both good battery brands
