I think personally that retarded is fine to use as long as it's in the right context.
Calling someone a retard is a different matter, that's like saying being retarded makes them less of a person and someone to poke fun at if you get my drift, but that's the same with most name calling, if it happens to be a touchy subject for someone who's reading or listening then it's obviously gonna be thought of as insulting etc.

they aren't phasing the spaces out. They still have them, our legal system insists on them. what they no longer have is teh white sign that says "disabled parking" bit by bit they are all being boxed off in white and having the disabled logo (that guy on wheels) on the floor.
so the signs at the side will not say disabled parking from 8am to 6pm then.Seraph said:
