One of my friends kids is interested in something like this where he can mix/ scratch etc. mp3s like you can records on decks. Neither of us has a clue where to start - any ideas please?

i had a Dj set for online radio, cant remember the name, will try and have a look around, if hes after starting a radio, its expensive to a certaine xtent and hard work

I got the full version of that virtualdj, no 20 days trial PRO version as well.

IMHO the best DJ software is Traktor - however I'm just about to buy the M-Audio Xponent as I need a better hardware controller, so I'll be using Torq.

Try Numark Cue. its a wicked piece of software with samples and such like. ive often used it on live sets.
mix vibes is a free one on the net., i havent used it in ages so cant remember what features it has.,

ahh.... DJ mixing, my software is different for different type of mixing, but can be used creatively to remix a track without all the cue/cut/timing required for vinyl.
