Going back to coffee, I also got a KRUPS high pressure espresso machine which is used regularly for cappuccinos..
BUT got this new filter machine, mainly coz it got a timer on it, and a built in grinder - well useful in the mornings, to wake up to a jugful of freshly ground coffee. Normally, my first cup of the day is made for me about 9am in the office, which is way too late.

mulled wine is a christmassy drink but i like it as a winter warmer, its red wine with all kinds of spices and cinamon in and you gently warm it in a pan and its yum :yum:

No, nothing obvious. We got a kitchen smoke alarm, and a few dotted round the house, but this one is a linked/monitored carbon monoxide one! The fire was only on the other night, and all was calm then.Neofolis said:

er i suppose gaz you can but a bottle of mulled wine and just put some in a mug abd warm it gently

I hope you are either a plumber or good friends with one, cos they are a nightmare to get hold of in a hurry. The chippy bit is normally a bit quicker.

Stu, get your fire checked out (I am sure you will anyway) CO is a dangerous chemical (as again I know you know). Maybe you simply didn't have enough ventilation?Stuart DemonD said:
