Dear All,
I m sure that a lot of you have the same problem I had and that is "weather" on the plastic headlight covers. Mine were almost not see through from long stay under the sun etc..
Since it is hard to describe how the headlights were, here are some "before" pics for you to see. Please forgive me for not removing a little bird sh*t before capturing :p
DocOrangePeel suggested a product from Meguiar's called PlastX which is extremely easy to use and I have posted another "after" pics to show you.
Personally, I am AMAZED with the results!
In the pics that show the whole front of the car, the left headlight is cleaned and the right one shows the before-after thing ;)

Do you notice any improvement when driving at night?

Yup (y)
Its much better now!
I have been also looking around for a HID Xenon kit which looks like the way to go to improve the relatively poor lights of the B.

I just used my power washer to get rid of the film on my coupe headlights.
Didnt know there was a film until I used the power washer:eek:

I'm in the process of taking the flaky film off my B's headlights just using T-cut. It's slow, but the results are good.

Doog.

So you don't end up with a faceted look? I just peeled off a little with my fingers and ended up with it. I take it that that's where the T-cut comes into play?

When your done use a good quality wax which will shine all of your lamps like new inc the fogs & rears. Infact I would have a go at that first for those that have no obvious signs of damage it basically fills the tiny almost unseen scratches and makes a very noticeable difference.

I had a mate go over my headlight with something called A-Cut - a few minutes of rubbing and it was as good as new :woot:
