I posted a yes. Simply of the basis that the handbrake has to work to pass an mot, if it isnt working then the car isnt roadworthy, is how I see it.
Regarding cento handbrakes, the only time mine didnt work so well was when a crosslever was partially siezed, the shoes werent great but after unsiezing the levers it held as good as any other car.
I have just swapped over rear arms including brakes, and the handbrake is still brilliant, crosslevers nice and slack - reading on the cento part of the forum many cinq owners change cables, shoes, slave cylinders and still have a crap handbrake, CROSSLEVERS is the problem.
