No.
All you do is wire up the injectors to the SPI loom. The 75 is batch injected, which essentially is the same as SPI just split in four locations.

Sorry for being thick (i usually deal with how fast and how much!!) but... does that mean you can convert spi to mpi?

After dropping in the 75 engine, all you need is an 75 engine loom, the 75 fuel pump, the injection rail fule line connectors and a remap if you want to keep the SPI ECU.
From the 75 loom you need the four injector connectors with the wiring, splice it in and this is the connection to fire it up.
