I would like to understand what the values are, especially in fuel map where there are negative values?
I thought to find positive values corresponding to the duty cycle of injector but with negative value, I don t understand.
The map is 100% correct! It does have negative values, it is only a correction map, read the beginning of the thread on how the fuel is calculated. Having injector duty cycles directly in the main fuelling map is the approach probably from the 80-s. In fact, if you zero out this map, the ECU would still work quite OK.
woj I asked a question earlier on how to give a purpose to the maps found, what can you tell me about?
and if possible also how to find the byte error to disable them on 8f
Very thanks
On my first car (fiat coupe 20v turbo) there is 2 map for wot ignition (depend on rpm: one from 1000 to 3700, and one from 850 to 6000 ) , and 4 maps for middle charge.
I juste increased values; i ll give the exact values of increase when I come home tonight.
For the seicento, I increased the base map between 5 and 10° especially on the maximum torque rpm.
10° remains largely acceptable with E85 and it is possible to increase up to 15°. However fuel map need to be perfect to avoid EGT to high
What did you do with the cranking fuel for E85? I have a nightmare of a tuning job on my GP with sorting this out.
