I just bought a 1242 bottom end of fleabay and did not look clearly enough at the pictures

I now am the owner of a bottom block and NO PISTONS

Does anyone have any pistons and advice on clearances / torque settings for me to fit them.

How much was it? Probably easier to get another compete engine our short engine I would have thought. Scrap yards are full of 1242 8v mk2 Puntos?

It was 30k mileage so I was interested

i'd just buy another - £50 should get you a whole 1242 8v engine meaning you have lots of spares to stick in your shed.
