One of the few benefits of being old is that my insurance doesn't cost as much as the car did . It is also cheaper as my wife:worship: is a named driver on all the cars even though she doesn't drive 2 of them.

Mine £400 fc this does include rac breakdown. i am 44 with max no claims,hubby to, he has sp30 that ups it a bit. not bad for group 19 barchetta 96 with e car.

My son is 19 has a bravo 1.8 with body kit and sports ehxaust 98, payed £1200 with only 1 yr no claims for TPFT thats adrian flux.

moral of the story take your own policy out, borrow off mum and dad if you have too
in years to come i get cheap, to insure anything,and DONT HAVE CRASHES.

its easily done, i smacked into a taxi at a roundabout and the claims still being settled after four months of waiting , after that i drove carefully for a bit but then thought sod it it's much more fun driving like a loon

As a named driver? . Liverpool victoria doesn't insure under 21's on their own policy as main driver.
