1. £1800 (With Pass Plus)
2. Fiat Seicento Sporting, High risk area
3. 17
4. Endsliegh (Would advise against)
5. TPFT

That was when I passed my test 3 years ago, now it's

1. £732 (2 years NCD, 2 claims in first year)
2. Fiat Stilo JTD (115), Low Risk Area
3. 20
4. Admiral
5. Fully Comp

I found Admiral Multi-car was cheaper for the family, but that's my experience anyway.

Edit: As mentioned above, ring them. I've always got a better quote like that!

Hi Sean,

my daughter has just got a 1.2 Sporting 16v Broom Yellow.

This is her first car, and shes just turned 18. The best price we found was with Elephant and came in at £991.45, TPFT, with 0 NCB. She also has a PASSPLUS.

I am a named driver on the insurance which reduced the total price by just under £100, so get a "cough" mature male driver added to the insurance, as this seems to help more than a mature female ie her indoors!

cheers
