Annnd, even though it's only tpft, they got solicitors on my case to help me get money for repairs, and offered to get me a hire car while mine goes in for repair:woot:..because i crashed 4 weeks after passing my test
renewed it last week on my 19th birthday tesco wanted £1488 i phoned them up and said i had a cheaper quote of £960 and they said we will match the price.
that was for my mk2 1.2 active punto 03 plate
By far the cheapest for whipper snappers. And you can drive any other car (as long as its insured on TPFF too - even if your policy is only third party).
my daughter has just got a 1.2 Sporting 16v Broom Yellow.
This is her first car, and shes just turned 18. The best price we found was with Elephant and came in at £991.45, TPFT, with 0 NCB. She also has a PASSPLUS.
I am a named driver on the insurance which reduced the total price by just under £100, so get a "cough" mature male driver added to the insurance, as this seems to help more than a mature female ie her indoors!
3: 26 - elite driver as I've been driving since 1999
4: Alka
5: Full coverage, including free tows to the garage if the car breaks down.
I'm from Denmark, so my reply may not relate to the topic. I'm just under the assumption that everyone else likes to know how things are elsewhere. Just like me, lol.
