General HELP !!!

I did consider booking a newly purchased vehicle and driving to a pre booked Mot test, but I wonder what the accepted distance would be?
200 miles to my regular test centre?

He said a reasonable distance is around 20-30 miles, unless its a specialist, where you have no close option

I have stretched the point and driven a lot further than 30miles.......but it is ones own choice.
When I last looked ages ago the .gov website didn't mention any distance limit or "reasonable" distance.

Plus I drove a vehicle that was completely capable of passing mot test and had no mot roadworthy defects

Had there been , the the insurance would have been invalidated.
I will probably stick to using my mates car trailer as I have never felt lucky enough to get away with things that others seem to do routinely.
