Hi Adam
It’s worth remembering that
MES is only really able to tell you information about the systems in the car that are there to reduce pollution — the On Board Diagnostic system, version 2, also known as OBDii. It cannot tell you about any mechanical issues like failing bearings or a faulty clutch (unless issues are caused by ignition or fuel faults, there are no sensors for those bits so
MES cannot ‘see’ them ). OBD also monitors safety-critical stuff like ABS and airbags. But, generally, if you have no warning lights showing, then
MES won’t tell you much at all as the car thinks all is well.
Think of
MES being like a doctor’s stethoscope — it can identify breathing issues but not a broken bone.
If it were running on three cylinders it would sound very sick, not be drivable, and would very quickly show the engine fault light. (Because your video of the engine running was filmed very close to the car, the sound recording is very distorted)
I’ll repeat here what I’ve said in replies to at least three of your many other threads about this car, get a reliable mechanic to test drive it.
