Technical Heater matrix pipe clips

Hi Guys,

I've just bought an 08 grande 1.4 petrol. The other day I noticed the coolant level dropping and a wet passenger footwell. A look through the forum pointed me to the heater matrix and sure enough one of the pipes was leaking at the join to the heater matrix. It has obviously been changed but the clips holding the pipe to the matrix had been snapped on one side and botched with a cable tie, can anyone tell me where I can get replacement clips from, or the right name of them so I can do a search? I hope the photo shows what I'm trying to explain!

Depends on access -space

Wormdrive clips are a bit awkward in confined spaces

Thanks Charlie, the link is throwing up errors but I'll keep trying it. Each pipe has a lip on it so when they are fitted together a lip of about 4mm is formed. A jubilee clip won't hold the pipes together unfortunately. The plastic clips are formed inside to accommodate the lip.

Only things I can find on ePER are normal worm drive clips.

Is there space to trim around your broken clip until it is a round sleeve, then put a worm drive clip around the outside? So the original acts as a collar, and the worm clip holds it together.

The GP heater box is a GM product.. perhaps those odd clips are pennies from a Vauxhall- opel parts shop
