My heater started to cut out randomly a week or so ago. Now it won't switch on at all.

I take it from other posts the motor has probably gone.

Is it an easy swap for a replacement?
Am I right in thinking it is located in passenger footwell?

Thanks.

if it only works on speed 4 then it is 100% fan resistor located near fan, if it doesnt work on any setting, it can be a variaton of things, i had a good journey 1 month ago about fan not working

It was just intermittent and finally stopped working other day.

I'll start with this guide and resistor and if that doesn't work I'll get another motor.

Thanks for info

Have a close look at the wiring to the resistor, as you describe it being intermittent before eventually dying it could be the wiring burning out near the resistor pack

All the wiring is fine, the resistor has seen better days but works (have swapped for new one anyways).

Def the motor that's gone tho as still didn't have any joy, wired it directly to battery and nothing.

Managed to source one for £13 on eBay, fingers crossed.

Wiring block.

Not had chance to have a look as yet but not sure that's the problem now.

The heater part of the centre console doesn't light up when lights are on?

Last night it lit up so I tried the Heater and it worked for about a minute and then it stopped and wasn't illuminated anymore?!
