has virgin media gone bust?

so my cable TV stops working
reboot the box and get error codes
okay so i pick up the phone and dial 151- number not recognised
okay 150-number not recognised
alright national number,dead tone


try the national number from my mobile,dead tone


try the VM service status page,get the page cannot be displayed??

Mine not totally dead. but the odd website won't load and it is running at dialup speeds

i'd be very happy with 2meg DL and 512k UL.
that would be more than 4 times faster than my mobile broadband.

my 22mb down, 1.5mb up connection is fine - all nice and uncapped

(and as a bonus it's not run by a company with half their network currently offline... )

funny you say that though,ive been looking around at what everyones offering just now
given BT are into the media side more it adds more leverage
either VM give me another deal or i jump ship
