Bro, the counrtyside looks wsome, i like the scenic route, tops(y)
away from the city life:)

looks good.

you can change the highlight mate, if you're interested in buying one ill get some more pics :)

any updates on the sound system, or you still looking into it?

scenic route is always the best, in the middle of no where we came across some sort of party, all appeared to be smoking the green stuff ;)

that sounds good, i like the option where you are able to customize the HU to your liking.
ive got a JVC mp3 player that i had put into my vehicle, i would like to change that HU but not at this stage.
i will choose to change my speakers before i do that:)

no updates as yet on my sound bro, im still looking into it, still shopping around as the guys down here are rediculous with their prices on a 6.5" split system.

its nice to get away from the city and just relax somewhere scenic like that, we do have certain places down here where it is scenic but its quiet a drive :)

the drive from Durban to Johannesburg has so much of open land and scenic like yours, and the land is so very flat.

i will post pics of Bergview, thats the halfway stop going to Johannesburg or either way around. the view is awsome, its just the long drive that gets to you, its about 6 hours drive either way:)

i preffer to fly than the 6hours :D
my folks are from Johannesburg so we do our visiting there and so do they. i like the view on our way there or back, but just the 6 hours that gets to me :)
the flight is between 30-45 minutes(y)

I must just add, when you change your speakers you will notice an improvement. But when you upgrade your HU you will notice a bigger improvement due to the extra power provided by a more powerful HU :)

yeah get some pics up! 6 hours is a long time, thats how long it would take me to reach the bottom of england from where I am ;)

My vehicle did not come with the standard HU, the special offer came with the after market JVC HU, i preffer the JVC over the standard one. im not sure what speakers they installed but i prefer to change them as well and add tweeters to the set up.it lacks that bit of a high frequency:)
the JVC is MOSFET 50W x 4, on my golf it use to make my 6x9 sound tops.
heres a link http://www.autostyle.co.za/car-audio-1/car-mp3-wma-cd-players/jvc-kd-g335-mp3-front-loader.html

its pretty much standard but i allways liked JVC.

have you driven that 6hours to the bottom;)

I will look for more pictures that i probably have on another SD Card at home. i think i have some pics of the area where my folks live in johannesburg, the short name for Johannes burg is JHB or joburg, Durban would be DBN or Durbs:D
i will get more pics up(y)

(y)

i will have to probably open my door card to check what speakers these guys did install. i think i would probably email the service clerk now to give me more info :)
i want to power the new speakers from the HU i have as i know it can pack a punch:) just need to find a good set and especially a set at a nice price. was looking at getting just 4 x 6.5" mids either 2/3 way instead of the split speaker system as the splits are quiet pricey. the splits however would sound way better becos of the crossover. im still on the hunt:D

infact i had so many faults that i picked up on the car, that i complained to fiat SA and they picked my car up this morning and sorting everything out, infact for all my troubles they throwing in the anti smash and grab:D also they gonna speak with fiat SA to extend my 3 yr factory warrenty up to 5 years, nw that i would want in writting. (y)

it sure turned out to be lucky, just hope i get the extended warranty or i have to complain untill its done:D
i think i probably know everyone at the dealership by now and so do they cos thats how many times ive been up and down to them, i live like about 5 - 7 minutes away from the dealership.
last night at around 10.00pm i realized that i left 2 metre carbon fibre at the back of my car on the floor, i emailed the dealership and this morning they told me its still there:D was worried just incase it took a walk and i bought that for a friend of mine, we gonna carbon fibre his BMW dash and probably his door pillars and stuff.

i just have to find nice speakers, just need some time to look around, just been abit tied up for time. cant wait to change them:)

if you connect yours to the amp it will sound even better, provided you dont over power them. how many channel amp do you have and the wattage?
lol, you still have to get around to doing the door pillars :D

ive been looking for them mudflaps but no luck as yet, i aint giving up, still looking, will tweak the closest make and use them :D

lol, when i had sound in my golf i did the installation myself, knew all the specs on everything:D

well i still have some more carbon fibre to put around the car, and im thinking of using a HU remote and kind of intergrating it somewhere within the car, my car didnt come with this remote, apparently the HU was outsourced so i think all remotes were kept by them, they make out on the sale of the remotes, i had a remote from my old HU but i can not find it anywhere, need to look for one and tweak it, i will put up pics and stuff as i go along.(y)

pictures above of the drive from johannesburg to durban(y)

I just fitted a few square metres of sound matting in my boot floor and in the rear hatch area - there is a very noticable difference is sound quality as there is a lot less rattling and distortion of the metal panels. Definately do it (y)
