Deenap I'm enjoying the vinyl around the fogs:yum:, I was thinking about doing something like that myself and you've made me want to do it more
P.S. I've been to SA and it is an amazing place, went to Durban, Ctown and Jo'burg and absolutely loved it. Never been to Rotherham though Sam

Thanx buddie, I used carbon fibre around my fog covers, first I created a template and then I used that to cut out my carbon fibre.use an hairdryer to bend the carbon fibre around the curves so it takes shape and sticks well.
They look really nice, its a shame the picture doesn't show its true worth.

the LED warning will do no harm, its basically just saying your headlights have died when they haven't lol.

I guess I will use the LED bulbs in for now untill I find a set that would work properly, infact there is a set that I had on my golf 1, it was a set with a size led bulbs that matched the original bulbs and didn't seem to have a resistor, probably it was a 12V led or so. I'm gonna have to get a set for a toyota as they take the same push in type bulbs and see what comes of it. But for now I will use the ones I currently have.

Hi Deenap, just looked on the official fiat site and the rear mudflaps are going for £28 or 340 rands

take some from a lorry, sure they will fit fine
sure thing buddie, i guess this weekend i will get me some lorry mudflaps... who knows i might just be starting out a trend with them i will find a universal one or something similar and tweak it abit so they fit perfectly.
do you have mud flaps on yours?
also what size is the speakers on the Punto? yhinking of changing them in the near future
I don't have mudflaps. I was considering it though.
as for the speakers, I don't know mate. I went to a speaker company and they simply took them out and put the new ones, that I chose, in to replace them.

sorry buddie, have been so busy lately trying to sort my vehicle out, will let you know what happen in abit.
i drove my friend's ford fiesta, think its the 2010 model or so, the inside door card and door pillars and stuff resembles the punto abit. but what i was impress with was the sound in the vehicle, the standard sound is awsome. its as if the vehicle has a subwoofer in it, those speakers give you really good bass, think the speakers are a 5x?
the door card and the door is similar to the punto, was thinking of getting my hands on them speakers but since its a 5x? i dnt think it would fit properly.
the punto seems to have a 6" i think, will snoop around the ICE section.
ive got an after market JVC Mp3 player that was fitted by the dealership but its got the standard speakers but i want some bass, dont want to connect a sub woofer but want some bass
does your set up give you nice bass after changing the speakers?
i will await your pics bro. i will get more pics from my end

im not good with fittings etc, but if you're looking for bass, you could really do with even a cheap subwoofer.
door speakers are not designed to handle deep frequencies (bass range). I fried my old door speakers (vibe slick 6) by setting the bass really high which is a job they are simply not designed to do.
as for pictures, heres a few:
nice clear road, private houses, the 'nice' part of rotherham
another one near there
then behind the camera are the not so private houses:
this used to be a field before some clown thought it would be great to build a park (arguments still on going) it used to look nice at first with flowers etc....
doesnt show much of rotherham but just showing the contrast between two streets that are bang next to each other

yip i know the door Mids are not designed for extremely low bass levels but thats what baffles me, how is it that the door speakers of the ford fiesta make it sound has if there is a woofer present in the car, my friend doesnt even have a woofer, these were standard speakers. thats why i wanted to get similar speakers
the punto has 6.5'' speakers on the doors, just read about it.
i will change my speakers myself, will also connect tweeters aswell.

thanx broi will change my speakers in due time, i guess i would firstly install my tweeters first, then do alil homework on some nice 6.5" mids and then install them, will put some pics up when i do attempt this, but firstly got some other teaks i wanna try out
most of the time im alone when im going pass some real cool places and mall so i can ot drive and take a picture...lol
but will get some good ones probably over this weekend
probably the guys building the places are skimping or the council is skimping... thats not nice.

me too bro, i dont have anything against fat folks, i have friends and family who are, was just mentioning we dont have a place crowned in that regard, but it should be an eye opener for the folks to get on the right track again
