i think the VXR is a turbo? 1.6 turbo maybe, not sure though.Eventhough it is only 155bhp hopefully the use of turbo unlike the clio/vxr should make it feel nearly as quick. Whats more they have worked on the handling and suspension so hopefully it will be nce to drive. No doubt you will be able to get the Abarth and power upgrade and it still cost less then the vauxhall or clio not to mention it being a much better looking car. I'll be interested to see how much it is going to cost.
the photos are of the car coming off of production, hence all the badges being covered up.it will look..... in the metal i hopedont much like the fog lights, look like theyu have been stuck on, but im shur when its in production it would look a lil more flushhhh
to be honest i ain't quite sure about the car in white. not a great photo perhaps, hope so.as for price you can get a new bravo 1.4 t-jet sport for £14,500,so at a educated guess i would say £13,500 i wont buy 1 without a skydome, leather, missed out on them the last time wouldn't wait 3-4 months i think climate control will be standard.hopefully there will be new colours abarth specific.to differentiate it from the run of the mill GP.but otherwise cant wait to get my hands on 1
Why does no one think that it is aimed at taking on the fiesta ST I am sure that actually sells in larger numbers then the corsa VXR, and the 155bhp will beat that quite nicely and probably alot cheaper and in a much more stylish manner.

i hardly think you'll get more bang for buck wth the corsa as far as performance goes. i think the 180bhp will be quick and the 150 won't be far off because i think the punto will be lighter.just been off the autoexpress site, they say say the the grande punto abarth is expected to be around wait for it................£15,000 wow that is rather pricey, new corsa is £16,000 more bang for your buck with that car.lets hope that the spec is high on it........??????????
just wait to you have your 1st GPS then in time, you might see things a little differently 2yrs time you will be looking at the replacement for the grande punto?????bet ya your t-jet with skydome will look the dogs fire a nfspd front valance on it even betterdoes seem a little pricey, in 2 years when i come to trade mine in i should get about 20% off with my employee discount.
This is the piont everyone is missing, and why there will be 155bhp and 180bhp versions. The 155 is aimed at taking on the st150, and the 180 will take on the vxr and clio 197. I think that pricing and insurnce groups of the different versions will reflect this.
what price did you get the gp t-jet 120bhp including options if you dont mind me askingdoes seem a little pricey, in 2 years when i come to trade mine in i should get about 20% off with my employee discount.
no GP is taking on a st150 fiesta especially the abarth the fiesta is available for 11k or less and that's a relic compared to the GP my god you can get a st 220 focus for roughly 15k pre -registered.the abarth ain't up there with the Clio corsa gang cooper s is in there too they are a rung or 3 above in the quality stakes.as for the gp being lighter than the corsa it will negligible in my opinion.£15k for a 155bhp what price for the 180bhp bamboozles me
I'm talking about the new fiesta due out next year, it will be up agains that. As for it not being up with the clio and corsa, it better be or fiat are in trouble with the prices being quoted.
