oh and chris cornells theme is ****

Gotcha there, don't think the Bond theme is a high draw anymore.

Ah well DVD versions of Casino Royale, The Departed and others await me in 07.

Just watched MV on DVD, it ain't half as bad 2nd time around.

erm... i actually really liked casino royal, and i also actually really liked craig as bond...

infact so much that i came ou the cinema shaking, and made a point of wheelspinning in reverse out of my parking space before screeching down a multi story car park, wondering why FIAT never installed a defribulator in my glove box...

I guess bond just has that effect on me...:p

Hi Film Lovers!

Not been at the cinema lately due to recent events so have had to make do with dvd ala home!

Santa brought me some discs and I'm working my way through them just now but I'd thought I'd bring to your attention a couple of gems!

Without a Paddle - on a whole it's a decent film but has some grewat lines like "where are we" as the main stars stand in a small town in nowhersville "I know, the corner of butt fu ck and you got a pretty mouth!"

Copland - Never liked it at first, thought I'd revisit it due to the stellar cast and this time around I thought that was bloody good, excellent acting and Sly is a mean shot!

Got myself 40 Year Old Virigin, Spiderman 2, Walk the Lineand some early Seagal classics to work through now!

Oh almost forgot, I'm waiting to see The Black Dhalia on DVD this week and might go and see Bobby at the Flicks, what a cast that has.

Watched Snakes on a Plane last night, I should have known that a b-movie title means a B-movie!

So really crap rushed acting, a plot we could all make up and write ourselves, a tonne of sometimes bordering on the amatuer CGI snakes and planes.

After watching it, I wish I could go on plane with snakes so they could put me outof my misery.

Re hotfuzz...

If you liked Shaun of the dead. and were cool enough to have watched spaced ;)

You absolutly have to see this movie as soon as possible!

Written by Edgar Wright and Simon Pegg, the plot line is, as usual, fast moving but fluent and keeps you glued to the screen.
Simon Pegg is great, although not as many great lines from him, most of the comic relief is from Danny (Nick Frost) who kept me entertained the whole film.
More to the point this film is funny as hell, i remember thinking after about the first 10 mins that if the film had ended here i would have been happy, and felt i had got my money's worth... but as the film went on it just got funnier and funnier, the loudest cinema i have ever been in, in regard to laughter.
Some really nice referances to Shaun of the Dead, and Spaced (i think marsha was in it, but i'm still researching)

Overall incredible film. even if your not a Shaun fan, go and see this, it's british comedy at it's best!! (y)

OK, my first cinema foray in ages was Hannibal Rising.

Charting the beginnings of Dr Lecter the film charts from his childhood in Lithuania to his arrival in Canada at the end.

Distinctley lacking in for me any decent actors plus being set in mainly 1950's put me off straight away.

Don't want to got into much detail but as a SOTL fanboy and also liking Red Dragon, I'll put this film next to Hannibal in the crap section.

Anyone seen Number 23?

I went to see it tonight and it was absolutely fantastic, makes ya think alot.
I was sat through the film trying to work things out like my D.O.B, phone no etc.

on the way home i was between two taxis for the local company called 23:eek:
