Not anymore mate,theres a new system in operation which is aimed to get the customer sorted out as soon as possible so its hopeful the car will arrive quicker than 2 months...dealers give customers a second chance aswell ;)

Good point about the car missing out on the grit/crud on winter roads :D
 
Think of it this way, a free car for the worst two months of the year... January and February, it will be filthy by then and not your car getting covered in salt and crud! I reckon youre doing OK by the dealer, agree the factory is at fault. However, unless you want the dealers goodwill to go, under no circumstances contact customer service, because all they do is ring the dealer and moan!!! Then the dealer will mark you out as a problem customer...

When my partners Panda had a problem the dealer couldn't be bothered to book it into the body shop, all they offered was a touch up pen. Thank god for customer services, they sorted it and the dealer changed their tune too.
