fiat brava sub kicking out

Hello everyone.
I have a fiat brava 2000, 1.6 elx. I have 2 fli 15" subs and a 1000w jbl touring amp. When car is not running it works fine but when the car is running it kicks out. A protection light comes on the amp when it does this. Can anyone help?

Take a walk around the car with a multimeter. Test the battery the amp the remote. This may show you a fault somewhere. If you are dropping below 12volts at any one time then you know you have trouble.
How have you done your earth is it bolted to a rubbed down section in your spare wheel bay, you could be frying the amp.

I have done some testing and it getting the 12v to the amp the black cable is on the right hand side in the boot. I think I need to get a power cap in there do u think this will help at all

You really dont need a power cap they are a myth. What do you mean its on the right hand side, what is it actually attached too.
