Technical Diesel DPF issues

Hi All,
I had my DPF checked by someone who said the fuel vapouriser needs changing as it is not doing its job. I have looked online and cant seem to find one or a part number for one. Does anyone have a clue what it may be or a link to one. its for a 2020 2.3 140bhp. My mechanic is away on holiday and has asked me to order one in advance.

It's an extra diesel injector that squirts in fuel directly to the input side of the DPF. This fuel then immediately burns inside the DPF, raising the temperature of the DPF enough to burn off accumulated soot particles (this only happens occasionally, when regeneration is called for ). Try Autodoc or GSF car parts, have your exact engine type to hand. I'd recommend a maker offering OEM quality such as Pierburg. Expect to pay about £130. Or take your VIN to a Fiat dealer and buy through the Fiat parts system, which could be twice the price for the same thing.
