Hi got a 2014 Fiat ducato selespeed semi auto 61000 miles, van was driving fine then would do the transmission fault jump out of auto into manual and then struggle to change. We first tried a new sensor still same tried calibration still the same, we then tried a new master cylinder actuator van is still the same. The code is attached below. Have read possible clutch and possibly the full selespeed unit which obviously is £3500 has anyone had this before or have any idea any help greatly appreciated. Thanks

Do you also have info about the fault code? I assume it was shown on the left hand side.
There are several sensors, which one was changed?
Hi on the left hand side is P181079 it was the clutch position sensor i believe that was one of the codes in along with a brake switch which we changed aswell

Your issue is more likely to do with the correct operation of the clutch electro valve solenoid, EV0. I suggest you use your Autel scan tool to observe the live parameters as per my attached photo. Could be a failing solenoid, or faulty connection/wiring between the solenoid and the TCU. Check connection at the solenoid first.

You could try @MotorhomeDIY on YouTube he did a bit on Comfortmatic's AKA @Seanwinder22 or @controlfreak6748 also on YouTube

Hi thanks for that what readings am i looking for to let me know which one is faulty? Thanks

If you select the parameters I have shown and take a screen shot of them with the engine running, neutral selected and the vehicle stationary I can then tell you what is wrong when you post it. The screen grab is of my Autel Maxidas DS808 on my Ducato Comfortmatic.

HMMM..... What you have presented is not what I asked for. You have presented all parameters when it would have been more convenient to select just the ones I suggested. However, after sifting through it all, so long as all those screen shots present data captured at the same instant, then the clutch is indeed open (as it should be), and the master cylinder is reporting it is open at a reported correct 10.87 mm, and the clutch is at zero RPM with the engine at idle. The clutch solenoid current is approx. 912mA, which is a bit low compared to all others I have seen - most have been around 1035mA. So, is that possibly the issue, or is it normal for your gearbox? You also have selected 1st, not neutral - but that is OK. If there was an issue with the clutch solenoid it would be very obvious with this test as the current would be either 0mA or dithering (loose connection). But at the reported 912mA it is enough to open the clutch as reported by the master cylinder position sensor and clutch RPM sensor. Perhaps to be sure, can you please repeat the test but please just select the parameters stipulated - that way they will all be on the one screen for confirmation.

sorry about that i have selected just the ones you need now thanks again

OK, interesting as now we note the EV0 clutch current to be 881mA, whereas previously it was 912mA, and the clutch position sensor is reporting 9.14mm whereas before it was 10.87. But this is probably because you had 1st gear selected originally, and now you have as I asked to be - in neutral. Because I am looking at a frozen moment in time (snapshot) I cannot tell if those two reading are dithering. When you run this test can you see if the readings are constant, or are they moving around?

clutch speed is moving around early 800s engine speed moving the rest are stationary 39 on sensor pressure and 18.22 on clutch position sensor

Are you now saying that with the engine idling and the vehicle stationary with neutral selected, that the clutch speed is now near engine idle speed?

OK, there is the problem. And what about the clutch solenoid current - I assume it is probably near 0mA. Take a new screen shot of all this for me please.
