In the Panda they were always shut and always horizontal! Sad i know, some people used to get it and poke their fingers in and twist them, i never used to say anything, just bit my lip and curled my toes!!!

I'm not that bothered by my vents, but I've noticed that if I drive back in the dark I have to flick the rear view mirror back from dipped as soon as I stop, it can't wait until I get in the car in the morning. :shakehead:

On second thoughts, just popping out now to check my vents...

I've sometimes only realised after doing it that I've re-aligned them...

Mine either have to be all open or all closed. All at a 45 degree angle facing inwards, outwards, outwards, inwards.

Outer ones need to be at 45 degrees.

Inner ones need to be vertical so you push the top to open them.

Had a friend who used to fiddle with the passenger side one in sisters mk3 when I had it. I threatened to dump him in the middle of nowhere before he stopped

As I knew I didn't line up my vents, just been out to my car to take a photo to publish here as a bit of a revolutionary - and scarily enough, my vents are in line!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Eeeeeeek!
