Hello!

Ive decieded i need my own digital camera, had a nice tax rebate so thats going on it. I can afford to spend around 100-150 - any suggestions?

edit: im ordering some stuff off ebuyer.com, so if any of them on there are worth getting that'd be a good idea to save on postage :)

the best is to go for one that is at least 3 million mega pixel as this will handle all the regular pictures most people take and also the pictures once uploaded will not be stupidly big file sizes. I bought a 5 million mega pixel kodak camera from comet i think, for £200 dont have any complaints about it but being a 5 million pixel camera the file sizes are a lot bigger and the camera needs a bigger memorey card to hold more pictures. You can easily pick up a 3 million pixel camera for the money you got Good luck! :)

Arc, a new battery recharger and some 2000mAH quality (i.e. Uniross) batteries are less than £15 on ebay so don't let it sway you too much.

As Bob said, 3MP minimum and obviously one with extendable memory (95% of cams nowadays and probably 100% in your price range). Type of memory is important too, I have MMC which is great as 1) Laptop has internal SD/MMC reader and two other of my devices use them so can mix and match.

Yes Dave, I always look at people with that cam and think "What a girl!" lol :p How you do think it's a girl's cam?!

Amazon have a deal for £150 on their front page, front page deals on amazon are usually fairly good, didn't read it though.-
