The "expert" bloke is part of a very small group of "experts" that the Govt is choosing to listen to. There are plenty of other experts who are actually experts in the specifics of epidemiology and viruses, (rather than Whitty and Vallance who are neither) who would argue that there are huge numbers of false positives which is leading this new panic.there are there signs on floors and posts, lots of people walk around just looking at the phones though. so never even see them.

Well the expert bloke on the radio today confirmed that the rise in cases has nothing at all to do with more people being tested as the percentages of positives has also risen, not just the total numbers.
On the plus side i have found local sainsbury's still have covid secure measures in place unlike asda, waitrose and tesco so i will be shopping there now.
That and prof Ferguson and his infamous modelling (aka guessing with the aid of a computer) who has never got any model right all the way back to SARs and bird flu.
But apart from that - I wondered if anybody knows what a good outcome of this would be? What is the strategy behind another lockdown of whatever degree?
