Technical  Cooling system problem

Thank you for the answer. The radiator was changed last year.I had tried spray water at radiator,no result.Temperature stays high.

In that case the flow of water through radiator must be very poor.

Change thermostat for one you have checked opens correctly and fully.

It still could be a bad radiator but easier to change thermostat first.

Did the problem first occur with new thermostat and new radiator?

I didn't have this problem before. It only started about two and a half weeks ago, after I replaced the thermostat and the temperature sensor.I will check thermostat again or maybe remove it.

Well if problem only started after replacing thermostat and sensor you have narrowed it down. To thermostat or sensor.

Do not run without a thermostat for more than a few days or you are asking for problems with other things including the catalyst

Maybe...First time thermostat was mahle/berh and coolant sensor hoffer.Second time thermostat was calorstat and coolant sensor was magneti marelli.

Oh good info , calorstat should be ok , magneti marelli too but lots of their parts now made in China. Are the parts the correct parts for your exact car?

Do you have old parts? Can you refit?
Why did you replace them?

Do check ground lead from battery to gearbox and from gearbox to body

And they were replaced again by the same mechanic that did not properly bleed the system. And he did the same rubbish job again, not actually bleeding it.
Unfortunately, this mechanic has let me down. He didn't pay attention to my problem and didn't look into why the car is behaving this way. He replaced the thermostat and the temperature sensor twice, but the issue wasn't resolved. Sadly, there isn't another garage in my area.

Unfortunately, I don't have the old parts. When I went to the garage for the second time, he told me he had thrown them away. I replaced them as a precaution since summer is coming. I also changed the coolant reservoir because it was leaking slightly, and I decided to change the thermostat and the temperature sensor as well. I've finally realized that if something is working, it's best not to mess with it. How can I check the grounding?

Use eper on the forum to find correct part number for coolant sensor for your car and check part fitted is correct.

When stationary ,hot and rad fan running does turning heater on full and heater fan on full drop the temperature and so cause rad fan to stop.

Hello,i had used eper on the forum with my vin to find the parts number.Yes when i am stationary i use the heater on full, its also the only way to drop the temperature.

I believe that the camshaft its ok,but on the flywheel the tooth is little behind

Yes, timing is off there, half a tooth.
That is not causing you the coolant temperature problem but is not good.
Why don't you bleed the system properly while having the car parked with front wheels on upper ground?

Look the cam timing is perfect , you can't change it half a tooth, it's fine. It is not cause of apparent hot running.

With header tank you have it is very unlikely to be trapped air and heater is working .

If heater brings temp down to where fan shuts off but rad fan doesn't there must be a problem with flow through radiator.

Does the rad fan stop when you do this?
Have you bled all air from radiator?
Which I understand has its own bleed tube /plug.
Is the radiator bleed tube clear or blockage and flows freely from rad when plug removed(don't get burned)

It is half a tooth off. Means either the belt is stretched, either the tensioner is loose.
Or the photo angle not straight, apart from flywheel not at tdc when photos taken.

I think there could well be air in radiator as that fits the symptoms.

The op would do well to tell us part number and brand of radiator.....so we could fit and photos

And post photos of bleed tube /plug on his radiator.

There definitely is air in. Bleeding was not done right.
There is photo, post #68 here
