Hi guys,
This time I'm in trouble after taking the car from a local mechanic which is also a friend of mine. I left the car for a brakes job (discs, drums, pads and shoes), but also CV joints and suspension arms.
The brake fluid was also changed and the system was bleed
I went today to get the car back and I immediately noticed the ABS light on. I asked him, but he was also surprised to see it on and he specified that he didn't touch anything that would trigger a fault in the ABS system. I took the car for a drive but the light stays permanently on.
I tried to read for any stored codes but nothing shows. It looks like there is no communication with the ABS module. I inspected the sensor wires and everything looks good.
Do you guys have any suggestions were to start checking, I'm driving mad because this happens now just before the MOT. Any fuses to check or should I disconnect the battery o what.
Any help is really appreciated and thanks in advance.
Regards
Elvis
