Technical clearing windscreen

The incessant rain of late has highlighted an issue. I really struggle to clear the windscreen. There IS air coming up through the vents. I can feel it. I have it on cold bringing in outside air but nothing seems to clear it, to the point of it being dangerous. I have searched the forums for similar issues but I'm a bit lost. Any pointers for an absolute novice?

Again important, Check the coolant level.
The heater will not work if the level is below half way

Test the heater are blowing toasty hot

I know it not on the windscreen but

If you set the controls as in the photo below

And the engine is hot, the centre vent should be blowing very hot if you put your finger in, not just warm, should also blow hot at idle

I"d be more focused on why the Blowers aren't clearing the windscreen first

Either liquid has entered the ducts

Or

It's not blowing hot air on the windscreen


Low coolant, thermostat or blocked duck bills are the most likely
