odd thing found while doing standing starts in my Sei, starting in was quicker from about 30mph up than starting in 1st. Though, I do carry a little more power than stock & it probably did the clutch no favours either

Just that my turbo never dumped when at traffic lights as it needed pressure as far as i knew?! Like between gear changes......

Revving hard in neutral and releasing the throttle at about 4000-redline would make it dump. However turbos don't build up boost as easily when reving in neutral, but a 2.0L 3S-GTE of an MR2 an pump enough exhaust gases when reving in neutral to dump.

dunno bout jamies but mine would dump fairly easily in neutral. probably a softer spring rate

a twin port corsa 1.2 managed to edge away from my cinq, but ate all the other sub 1.4 corsas for breakfast

Well its mine now And can confirm that it doesn't seem to wanna dump in neutral, esspecially when its cold but it does. Don't worry i'm not being a tw4t and sitting in my tub tisching for no reason, but i had to try it didn't i, its my first turbo Defo sounds much better when in motion though
