If I re wired the coil wiring to fit the 3 pin plug could I run a Punto mk2 coil pack in place of the two separate coils?

Are they the same resistance etc etc?

Punto mk2 has two coil packs, so I don't know what you have in mind.
To do a re wiring like you want to do, you have to have in the end, more important than resistance, the same timing of charge for the engine to run correctly. The timing is controlled by ECU, so I do not think that you can put in practice a functional project like that. And I don't understand why would you want to do that. Are you having too much free time?

The Sporting punto had 1 big block.. For 4 x HT cables 😉

Yes, the lower output FIRE motors were all the same I believe
Cinq, panda, punto and Sei : 2 x Coil Packs

Was the later sporting the 16v?

Did they use a different ECU with the later coil pack?

I was thinking the later one piece coil would be a little lighter that the two coils.
