Noticed this elsewhere so think we should have one (y)

As we all know there's nothing quite like the adrenaline rush as the one you get when u pull out from behind the vehicle in front, switch down a gear press your right toe to the floor and feel the kick of the engine and the force of being pushed back into your seat as you steam past......................The Beast

C'mon then lets hear everyone eles unbeliveable stories!!!......... :D

when my car was pretty much standard, it was raced against a friends company car. Honda Accord Sport. Think it was a 1.8. The cinq was quicker off the line and then held it back to around 50. It did quite well i think.

ALSO I FITTED A MAXPOWER STICKA AND WAS LIKE ON DIS ROAD AND A SCOOBY AD A GO!?!?!?!?!?!?! SO I DRPPED IT D0WN 4 GEARZ AND KICKED HIS ASS!!!!!!??

One of my favourites, is feeling the kick of the transmission putting the power down onto the road away from traffic lights, and watching all the other cars disappear into your rear view! Making use of the cinq/sei's very short first gear ratio. Also taking a bend at speed, braking ever so late, using all the road, get the car at the limit - now that is where the best feeling is to be found!!

Yeah on a serious note I always leave my mate standing in his 106 that he's spent bout 3k on it it weighs a hell of a lot more than my car.....

Also to be fair not much can take roundabouts much faster...obviously just talking everyday cars not rally spec-d cars or a ferrai :p

But, my favourite win, was against a peugeot 205 gti, i'm not sure if it was a 1.6 or a 1.9, but it was modded. Two roads went into one from the lights after about 150 yards, so it was all down to a good handbrake start, and bang I had him! Good old short first and second gears and he really was trying! By the fact i heard his engine limiter cut in in first! lol

The handling is the main thing i love about my car. Its nippy, and i know they're not the fastest things on the road - but its my first car, cost me 600quid and for that its loads of fun.

The suspension kit def made the biggest single improvement to the car - overall tho, the suspension, brakes, chip, tyres - all make for a very fun car :D

whats the 0-60 on those 205 gtis, because i also had one in the world traffic light grand prix :D
It has to be said though the best feeling that these lil cheeky cars give you, is when you fly through roundabouts (y)
Can anyone else get the back end out loads in their cinq, coz my mate thought i was using my handbrake or something until he realised it was a cinq and they dont have handbrakes ;) i think its down to the fact i have two fresh avon tyres on the front and some mid tread bf goodriches on the back, what do u guys think :)

What is going on? How can the Cinq/Sei be ultra quick off the line with just 13" of wheel, or 14" if you're lucky, and just 750kg of weight? There just ain't anything to grip the road.

As for the handling, how can you love it? In the Top gear readers poll the Sei gets 1/5 for handling. My Sei understeers very badly, and has quite a bit of body roll too :(.

btw, I have an 899cc Sei SX.

After having driving some mates cars......

106- Mod'd
Fiesta's mk1/3/4's
Ibiza 1.9tdi
Saxo desire-Mod'd
Colt
R5
Corsa- Mod'd
and a
Nova

The only car that handled better than my cinq was the ibiza and still wasn't as fun to drive!

I enjoyed thrashing my mate off the lights against him in his ford KA. Is a 1.3 but cinq beats it hands down in a straight line. I enjoy country lanes but have to give it to the KA in those stakes because that is amazing on bends. It is quicker than most of my mates cars except for one of my friends polo G40, racing that would be embarrasing.

Love going through the gears on country lanes, what a car the cinq is for driving on backroads, it really is a rocket powered roller skate.

The cinq could be such i great car if it didnt feel like it was gonna break every time you drive it enthusiastically. And it didnt break :(

What a great car to drive though!

oh time for my unbelievable stories... 1) the other day, stuck behind this car doing about 35-40 in a 50 zone (n) and i was rather keen to get to college on time so i had to overtake him, but the only safe bit was a straight section wiv a speed camera on it :( so in the space of no more than 500 yards i accelerated past him, pulled in and braked back down to 50 :) before the camera! and 2) dont go over small humpback bridges at 55mph. its not fun and you may catch air for about half a second... before you thud back down and have to keep the car going in a straight line! doh

Oh, Paul will have a field day when he see's this!

I've beat other cars more powerful than the Cinq but it's down to the driver IMO not what he's driving.
