Have u tried clicking 'repair' to see if an error message comes up? I sorted out a wireless network on tuesday night but I was using D-Link gear. Have u tried selecting a different wireless channel? If you're router has a firewall, disable your computer/laptops current firewall. When it comes up with 'limited or no connectivity' what is the IP address?

Hope its all better today Ghost :)

I wouldn't have thought change the MTU would have made a difference as I thought that controled the amount of data transmitted (Maximum Trasmitted Unit "or Something") I thought it more likely to be a DNS issue.

Is it the Internet that went down after 5 mins or just the Local Area Network, or both?

The same 'limited or no connectivity' came up when i tried to connect a wireless laptop to the router and was due to a file missing, which apparently windows is quite notorious for.

The way I found out was to run a run command, so if you try everything speak to me on msn and I'll run u through a few things that I done to find out the cause.

If you press on 'Hardware Resources' then look at 'Conflicts and Sharing' then all the other things within 'Hardware Resources' you may find some useful information.

Just look for anything thats flagged with Conflict or Error or Broken etc...

It should all say OK.

I have never managed to get an USB connected computer to run correctly with an ether net connected computer from a router one or the other will not work, at the same time, are any of the other computers connected via ether net?

Ok so it worked for a while but its been playing up again recently...

Its wired in hard wired, but the router keeps dropping the connection it will show as "Network cable has been unplugged" or something like that (cant remember exactly) and then that will last for like 1/2 a second lol :p

Then about 10 seconds later i will get the low network connectivity warning, and i will be able to connect to the router practically straight after the unplugged warning has disappeared :) but it wont let me access the internet till about 2-3 mins later :( even if i try and "test" it via the router pages :(

Ooh last time though i was quick enough to find this error msg? something about assigning a network add to my comp?
