Help! :(

have just set up a netgear wireless broadband router and firewall, and set up the wireless points on my laptop and sisters computer etc, but have got a couple of problems...

Hotmail is a no go, as is ebay... (both for my sister and me) but everything else works fine, msn is a bit iffy for my sister apparently but mine seems to be fine

can anyone help me on this

dude when you log into the console via internet explorer at http://192.168.0.1 and you log in... on the left hand side under 'wan setup' whats the 'mtu size' set to? if its anything different to 1400, have a go at setting it at 1400. you will have to reconnect...

give that a go.. if its still broke post back and ill have another think :)

no probs dude - anytime :) ...thats a decent router you will find it never drops the connection, mines connected 24/7 and it always works lol. by the way id change the password to something different. also secure your wireless if u arent using it, disable it. when you are logged into the console, on the left hand side theres 'attached devices' you can keep track of which machines are connected here, (so you know if your neighbours are connected)!
