Technical Boot won't open with key or via the outside?

Hi,

I have my MOT coming up in a few weeks and the boot suddenly won't open, the lights flash when I press the button on my keys but nothing happens.

I've read on here it may be the locking mechanism is broken but wondering if there's any other things I should be checking before I buy one?

Check the fuses, also common on newer Fiat’s like the Evo to break wires inside the rubber conduit between the body of the car and the tailgate,

You can usually climb in and pop the boot from the inside you’ll need to make sure power is getting to the release motor
