I plan to do some experiments on Fiat Punto mk2 - mk2/b Body computer, ECU and instrument panel on a test bench - off the vehicle. Has anyone tried souch a thing? I'm following autodata wiring and pinout information. Is it possible to power up the Body and instrument panel without the ECU?

Sorry, I have a body computer, where the Y connector is soldered in upside down, so the pin numbers got messed up. I assume it was made on friday...
After getting the correct pin numberings, it was easy to start it up.
Thread can be deleted, thank you.

aw schuks
i had pictures of you with a teatowel on your head going into the deepest depths of the body computer with nothing more than a blunt instrument and a wild glare:D:eek:

Yeah, a little bit of headache why it didn't work. But after taking mine out from the car, realised the connector was upside down, it finally came alive!
