It can be physically removed yes you'd loose voice functions handfree ect but it can be done
I’m not sure why you’d want to. If you don’t use it, it doesn’t cause any problems?
Physically removing it may cause canbus issues when the rest of the car notices the module missing and non of the steering wheel controls would work anymore.
If you just want to change the radio then that’s simple enough without having to remove blue and me
