Technical Battery light no steering

Hi new here I have 64 plate panda I started to get battery light on and then loose power steering if turn off and restart alls fine for about 5mins then it goes again the alternate is still charging battery while light is on any one help please

on most modern FIAT cars the power steering is electrically assisted

It uses LOTS of electrical power.. so meeds a good power supply

Required:

Alternator,Battery , heavy duty cables


Battery.. often the weak link

Main Earth cable can break down internally

Alternator.. not generally the 1st thing to fail ;-)


How old is the battery ?

Check the cables are tight on the terminal posts
