Battery booster / jump starter?

Battery booster / jump starter?

I've just looked to see what the difference between the Topdon BT 100 and 200 is. But i can't see what it is, nothing obvious anyway.
The 200 does 12 and 24 volt batteries whereas the 100 only does 12 volt. 24 volts is of no interest to me though. However the 200 has a colour screen display which looks nicer and has come out as a more accurate device in a couple of detailed tests I've read. Also, on the likes of ebay, there seems to be offers on both which brings the price differential to typically around £8 between them and for that I'd rather have the colour display. I'm moving away from the Foxwell as it's considerably more cash and only has a monochrome screen. Don't know if it's more accurate though. I'm in no hurry so will investigate some more.

I suppose I could carry a donor battery in the car, its an option.
I was very tempted to do this but I don't like the idea of an unsecured battery in the boot or the possibility of accidental acid contamination of something like some good clothes etc. Also it's heavy - I'm thinking of the havoc it could cause in a serious accident. so just doesn't make much sense.

I used my tester along with a separate battery repair charger and watched a battery go from 0% health back up to 90%, in stages like 12%, 33%, 64% etc. It appears to be very accurate.
Oh yes. Topdon is a name which seems to have "exploded" onto the automotive electronics scene over the last few years. They seem well regarded and have a big catalogue of much more "technical" gear than these battery analysers.
