Hi
I replaced the arb bushes approx 4 months ago.
Since then I get a slight knock from the front left.
I have checked the anti roll bar and it seems to of moved about 10-15mm over to the drivers side - and hence this pulled the bar where it bends closer on the passenger side. Causing it to knock on other suspension parts.
I have loosened the bush mounts and set the bar to centre. It stays ok for about a week but the it starts again. And hence the bar has moved again.
Anyone any ideas.
The collars on the bar seem tight but when the bar is centered there is a gap between this and the bush.
Help

Hi
...
The collars on the bar seem tight but when the bar is centered there is a gap between this and the bush.
Help

One of the (plastic) collars had broken off mine so I just put a couple of jubilee clips tight up against either side of the bush. Has worked fine so far and went through MOT no problem.

Think I've had it with multiplas.
Going to look at a Honda frv tomorrow. Same seating arrangement as the multi but should be far superior in the build department.
I done the whole suspension on the multi a while ago, and now it's clunking again... Aaarrrggghhh:bang:

My petrol Multipla was like that, everything that could possibly make a noise on the front suspension was checked and changed and occationally the clonks, clunks and clicks went away or reduced but not for long... Still love them though

Frv are about 5 times the price of the multi!! And nowhere near as roomy!
I'm trying to source some clonking and reckon its the top mounts!

I've done the wishbones and ARB bushes, it went quiet for a week then started clunking again, the roads I drive on are crap, I think the front suspension is made from cheese.

I just turn the music up until the clunking goes away.

I don't have any problems with my ARB, drop-links, mounts or bushes any more, and never will, guaranteed . . . because last year they were all put in a skip where they belong. (y)

I really don't miss it. :p

Can the whole front arb setup really be ditched.
What does it handle like

Gonna remove the whole arb setup tomorrow and see how she goes.
Cheers BikeDoc
