the alloys now have Toyo Nanoenergy 3 tyres on them. The tyre man matched the budget's price. They have a Db rating of 69.
Toyo Nanoenergy will certainly be my choice when I need new boots for my 1.2.
They always seem amongst the cheapest for good quality brands, and still made in Japan (no rebranded linglongs or luckyland happygalops thank you)
I used Toyos on my mx5 for 10 years (they're a popular mx5 tyre), have a good balance of dry/wet performance, noise, economy and durability.
