Afternoon all

Anyone know what bolt thread length I should be using for alloy wheels?

Internet seems to be getting clogged up with more than one answer.

Fitted alloys from a newer fiat 500.

Cheers

My 100HP (Fiat Alloy wheels) has the same wheel bolts as the 1.2 with steel wheels. The biggest issue is failed zinc plating making them look carp.
Thanks Dave

I've got a 100HP and never thought to do that, though its garaged at my aunty's at the minute.
I did put the bolt through the alloy and steel, and the difference was 2mm.

Might order new longer ones just to be safe, and they look nice lol!

Thanks

Chris

The bolts on our 2007 and 2009 Pandas are identical. Those on the 100HP looked really cruddy. I used spline drive bolts. They also rust but at this price you could have them zinc plated. By the way its a standard spline size but bigger than found in most hex/torx/spline kits.

Alloy and steel both use the same part number

M12x1.25
Thread Length: 22mm
Seating Type: 60-Deg
Hex Size: 17mm

If you use wheels off a different model car you will have to make sure the same amount sticks out the back

The alloys have come off a 500 2018 model I believe.

My panda is a 2009 eco active.

I've measured the length of what comes out back of steel as 20mm, so ordered the 22mm for the difference

Just to confirm the bolts are identical; you can use what you already have.

I bought both a Panda & a 500 in 2010; the Panda has 13" steels, the 500 15" alloys; there's no difference whatsoever save that the 500 had one locking bolt on each wheel, with the four spare bolts supplied in a box in the boot.
