Why not? It's fun for a while.
funnily enough, I was talking about this subject earlier with a colleague.
My first install was a klaxon off an alarm system. Initially installed under the bonnet but later high under the dash as part of an alarm - after a few seconds- serious headache, after a few more seconds - ear bleed
I went on to buy a 'wolf whistle' from a well-known northern motor factor. This had to be tapped into the manifold in order to work.
Then finally, I installed a pair of train horns under the bonnet - by god were they powerful  (especially as the engine compartment served to echo and amplify).
Never did like the cheapo musical jobbies - dukes of hazzard, colonel bogey or la cucaracha seemed to be the only tunes available.
I heard that the musical ones were supposedly banned - something about performing rights?
